Pitney Bowes in Levittown, PA is seeking an onsite Industrial Maintenance Technician, 1st Shift for our Presort Services facility. The role involves diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues on mail sorters and printers, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting installations.

You will work Sunday through Thursday, 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM EST, earning $29/hour with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong familiarity servicing conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Experience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers).
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards; respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime; maintain spare parts inventory; track downtime with a tablet.
