Job summary

Carlisle Brake & Friction is hiring for a maintenance role on the 3rd shift to install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems, and piping in an industrial setting. You will follow an aggressive preventative maintenance schedule and communicate repair needs to supervisors and vendors.

The position emphasizes safety, COS participation, lean methods, and teamwork to drive productivity and reduce waste while supporting profitability.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school with 2+ years related experience.
• Six to twelve months in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, structures, piping, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and diagnose problems; dismantle and repair as needed.
• Maintain 5-S standards and promote Lean COS initiatives.
• Read electrical/mechanical drawings and work with management on continuous improvements.
