Job summary

Carlisle Brake & Friction Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for 3rd shift to install, maintain and repair machinery and electrical systems in an industrial setting.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, lean manufacturing practices, and COS initiatives to improve productivity. Candidates should have a technical certificate and 2+ years of related experience, with CNC repair exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school and minimum of 2 years related experience and/or applicable training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six to twelve months of employment experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Prior CNC repair or preventative maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, electrical systems and related infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and diagnose problems to minimize downtime.
• Dismantle defective machines and install repaired parts.
• Maintain COS initiatives and lean manufacturing practices to drive efficiency.
