Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our pork processing facility in Iowa. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment across production lines, conveyors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems while upholding Tyson policies and a safe work environment.

This role requires reading manuals, documenting work, performing welding and basic electrical tasks, and lifting up to 60 pounds. Third shift availability, plus overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or preferred with 1 year of on-the-job training.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read manuals and document work completed.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and assets.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems.
• Welding, basic electrical work, and work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read manuals and document scheduling and training activities.
• Lift up to 60 pounds and work in confined spaces and at heights as needed.
