Job summary

Tyson Foods Madison Plant is seeking a Maintenance Generalist to keep production lines running and perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, set up and break down line equipment, and document daily activities in a fast-paced pork processing environment.

The role requires hydraulic, electrical, plumbing, conveyor, wiring, welding, and pneumatic skills, with the ability to read manuals and work in temperatures ranging from -30 to +90 degrees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management to resolve issues.
• Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work from elevated platforms.
• Must be willing and able to stand/walk 12-hour shifts on hard floors and work in all processing facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Keep machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Repair and maintain operating conditions of machinery and industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems in day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Set up, adjust and break down production line machinery; complete daily documentation.
• Occasional lifting from 0–61 lbs.
