Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services is seeking 3rd shift Indoor Construction workers for a manufacturing facility in Fenton, MI. Ideal candidates are skilled builders who perform hands-on projects using power and hand tools, with reliability and a solid work history.

Pay is $20.54 per hour with a 7pm–5:30am schedule Sunday–Saturday, overtime available on Saturdays and Sundays 7pm–3:30am. This role requires reading a tape measure, lifting up to 50 pounds, and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.
• Exceptional mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read measuring tape.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, plastics, drywall and composites.
• Measure and arrange materials to established layout based on blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Use hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
• Ensure accuracy by checking completed work with measuring tools and adjust as needed.
• Fit and install windows and doors.
• Follow safety rules to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
