Cardinal Staffing Services in Fenton, MI is hiring for Modular Assembly workers. You will assemble walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using wood, steel, and composites, and use hand and power tools to complete projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and strong mechanical skills. Lifting up to 50 pounds and working a 6am–4:30pm schedule with overtime on weekends are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/ GED required.
• Ability to read measuring tape (Test Required).
• Exceptional mechanical and technical skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assemble walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as wood, steel, metal, plastics, drywall and composites.
• Measure and arrange materials to layout based on blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements with hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Use hand and power tools to build assigned projects securely.
• Check accuracy with tools like tape measures, levels, and framing squares and correct issues.
• Fit and install windows and doors as required.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a clean environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Cardinal Staffing is interviewing for Modular Assembly workers for a manufacturing facility in Fenton, MI. We're looking for candidates who are skilled builders and good with hands‑on projects that require the use of power tools and hand tools. An ideal candidate will be reliable with a good work history.

Pay: $18.54/HR | Monday-Sunday, M-F 6am-4:30pm, overtime Sat & Sun 6am-2:30pm

Job Description:

• Assemble walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, plastics, drywall and composites of multiple materials.
• Measure and arranges materials to established layout based on blueprints or instructions from Supervisor.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Use various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
• Ensure the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as tape measures, levels, framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
• Fit and install windows and doors.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred
• HS Diploma/ GED
• Exceptional mechanical and technical skills.
• Ability to read measuring tape (Test Required)
• Uses mechanical skills to build industrial equipment.
• Ability to frequently walk, stand for extended periods (8-10 hours a day), balance, stoop, crouch, kneel, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift while performing functions of the position.
• Comfortable with cleaning and quality control.
• Comfortable with climbing ladders as needed.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
