Job summary

Ideal Tridon Group in Smyrna, TN is hiring a Header Operator for the 3rd shift to set up and run header, slotter and thread roller equipment used in fastener production. The role emphasizes machine setup, tooling selection, quality checks, and adherence to safety standards.

You will load materials, adjust controls, monitor processes, perform inspections, and document production data. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are preferred.

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Set up header, slotter, and thread roller machines per specs.
• Load materials and adjust feeding and cutting mechanisms for proper flow.
• Program and adjust machine controls for speed, feed and tooling positions.
• Monitor processes to maintain quality and prevent malfunctions.
• Conduct test runs and inspections before full production.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.
• Record production data and results in logs or systems.
• Follow safety SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
