Job summary

Randstad USA is hiring a Machine Operator for its Smyrna, GA site. The position centers on a comprehensive 3- to 6-month hands-on onboarding on 1st shift with dedicated trainers before transitioning to a permanent 3rd shift schedule during night hours.

You will learn to set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot high-speed automated equipment, perform changeovers with hand and power tools, and carry out preventive maintenance. High school diploma required, shift will include nights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of machine operation experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specification documents.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and basic tool changes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, calibration, and changeovers on production lines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct quality checks using precision measuring tools and document results.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area following LOTO and PPE protocols.
