Role and Location

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our Feed Factory Team as a 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 1 based out of Baltimore, MD.

2nd Shift Hours: 4:00pm – 1:30am

The 2nd Shift General Manufacturing Manager 1 will be responsible for the direct supervision of approximately 7-12 represented (union) employees and processes in a Manufacturing environment.

You will work independently across organizations; manage the use of consumables to achieve budget targets; assign and manage represented EMS Operators and/or Sensors & Systems Technicians to maximize efficiency and achieve target productive yields; implement our process improvements to improve affordability, quality, and schedule; and perform required SAP/MES transactions to manage Operator and/or M&P Specialist.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in High Volume Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in High Volume Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering; 9 years of work experience in High Volume Manufacturing, Production, or Engineering may be considered in lieu of degree
• Prior experience supporting/coaching people and/or projects
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) or Business area
• Experience with SAP/MES
• Experience with ISO, LEAN/WCM, and problem-solving methodologies
• Prior experience working in a represented (union) environment

Primary Level Salary Range: $95,400.00 - $143,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
