Bell Textron Inc. in Grand Prairie, TX, seeks a Front Line Leader for the 3rd shift to manage up to 25 unionized employees in a manufacturing setting.
You will assign daily tasks, enforce discipline when needed, and ensure adherence to the local Collective Bargaining Agreement while driving throughput and profitability.

We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite at Bell's Drive Systems Center in Grand Prairie, Texas.
This position is 3rd Shift or determined by business needs. This position requires mandatory weekend OT shift on a rotational basis, minimum one weekend a month.

This role will be an integral part of the team, helping execute day-to-day.
The Front Line Leader will be responsible for assigning, managing and directing the daily manufacturing activities of up to 25 union covered employees within their assigned area to attain economy of operations, maximize throughput, and insure profitable production of parts.
Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.
Manage in accordance with the local production union Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Provide metrics driven accountability for performance: TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
Achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions (such as Supply Chain, Process Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Quality, etc.).
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
5 years of manufacturing or military experience is required.
Effective interpersonal, leadership, communication, and organization skills.
Being goal-oriented and data driven with a strong sense of urgency.
Capable of leveraging modern business systems and have basic computer skills.
