Gordon Food Service in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring for a 3rd Shift Freight Handler. You will support the team by safely removing pallets from trailers, breaking down products for proper pallet configuration, and sorting inbound freight by item code. Training is provided, no experience is required.

Candidates must be 18+, able to work holidays/weekends/overtime, and comfortable working in extreme cold or hot environments (-25F to 100F). English reading/writing is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work holidays, weekends, overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove pallets from trailers and break down products for correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets; account for damaged product and prevent it from entering inventory.
• Ensure pallets are structurally sound and ready for warehouse storage.
