Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Shepherdsville, KY is hiring a 3rd Shift Freight Handler. You will support the warehouse by safely removing pallets from trailers and breaking down product for correct pallet configuration.

No experience is required—we’ll train you. You must be 18+, able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime, and endure cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F). English reading/writing is required, with drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Support team by safely removing pallets from the trailer and breaking down product for the correct pallet configuration.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets and account for damaged product not being received into stock.
• Ensure the structural integrity of pallets is maintained during handling.
