Job summary

Garelick Farms, Dairy Farmers of America, is seeking a 3rd shift production operator to operate filler equipment and support quality checks in a fast-paced facility.

The role pays $20.00 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Work schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 pm–7:30 am. External candidates may qualify for a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred.
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate filler equipment of various product families following regulatory standards.
• Clean, set-up, operate, and monitor equipment of the production line.
• Complete all required documentation and scheduled quality checks.
• Monitor weights, seals, caps, and general packaging of product.
• Adjust filler timing and filling; check mat as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
• Collect required samples for quality assurance testing.
• Ensure proper packaging materials are used for each product.
• Maintain communication with other departments and report issues affecting efficiency.
