Job summary

Sargento is hiring for a Production Sanitation Utility on 3rd shift in St Cloud, WI. The role is on-site, full-time, and involves sanitation, GMP compliance, and packaging support in a cold cheese production environment.

You will train in safety procedures, operate sanitation equipment, and assist in prep, pack, and sanitation activities to meet production goals. Prior manufacturing is a plus; forklift certification may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification upon hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Lifting 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Responsibilities

• Follows GMPs and safety regulations; uses PPE.
• Reads production orders and verifies product information.
• Operates and maintains packaging and sanitation equipment.
• Inspects products and packaging for quality; ensures proper labeling.
• Performs sanitation duties using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Trains others as assigned.
• Handles and stores materials and completes required paperwork.

Education

High school diploma or GED/HSED

Prior manufacturing experience is a plus
