Job summary

CARL BUDDIG GROUP in Sheboygan, WI seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to test raw materials, in-process and finished products ensuring chemical, microbiological and sensory standards are met. You will audit processes, prepare reagents, and maintain QA records.

Requirements include a high school diploma with relevant science coursework or degree, 2+ years in manufacturing quality, and strong GMP/HACCP/SQF knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with an AA or BS in food science, biology, or chemistry preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a quality function.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and SQF guidelines.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to perform measurements, calculations, and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Test raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products for chemical, microbiological, and sensory attributes.
• Audit plant processes for compliance to standards.
• Prepare reagents and solutions; inspect equipment before and during production.
• Maintain QA records and verify COAs as required.
• Participate in sensory evaluation and ensure product safety and quality.
