Job summary

Ornua Co-operative Limited in Hilbert, WI is seeking a Quality Lab Technician for the 3rd shift to perform QA and food safety testing in a dairy manufacturing environment. You will calibrate lab equipment, run on-line tests (fat, moisture, pH) and generate COAs and finished-product reports.

The role requires a high school diploma; science degree preferred; strong English and basic computer skills; and a commitment to GMP and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or Chemistry preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and production preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate lab equipment.
• Perform on-line testing (Fat, Moisture, pH) during Production to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Generate reports on finished products following testing.
• Conduct customer-specific testing on finished products (Sauce, Viscosity, etc.).
• Demonstrate adherence to the site’s Safety and GMP practices.
