Qualifications

• Requires average math skills and ability to read instructions in English.
• Must be physically able to handle heavy items incl. lifting, pushing, pulling.
• Able to follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Ability to stand for an entire shift in a non-climate-controlled shop.
• Ability to learn machining concepts and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Follow production instructions from sheets, blueprints, or verbal directions.
• Install machine fixtures to ensure safe operation.
• Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, drills, presses, and CNC machines.
• Inspect finished goods with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to meet tolerances.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow PPE guidelines.
• Assist in other duties as needed.
