Job summary

Bolthouse Fresh Foods, based in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking an Equipment Operator I for our Natural Ingredients plant. The role involves coordinating daily production with supervisors, loading/unloading trailers, and assisting in operating plant equipment on the 3rd shift.

The ideal candidate will monitor material flow, adjust controls, and help with onboarding new staff. Prior production experience and the ability to work bilingual in Spanish/English are a plus. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related field experience.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material flow and instrument readings (temperature, pressure).
• Set or adjust machine controls to regulate material flow, temperature, and pressure.
• Weigh/measure materials for refining, mixing, transfer, or storage.
• Unload and prepare ingredients for daily processing.
• Perform changeovers, CIP, cleaning and sanitizing of tools/equipment.
