Job summary

Dauch is recruiting for a 2nd shift Production Assembly position at our Bowling Green facility. The role involves manual and automated assembly of driveline components, reading blueprints, and following production schedules to meet quality standards.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to stand up to 12 hours, and lift up to 35 pounds regularly. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Must be able to work the designated 2nd shift hours (2:00pm - 10:30pm).
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated assembly tasks for driveline components and sub-assemblies.
• Operate and monitor assembly equipment, machinery, and tools safely and efficiently.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for quality defects and conformance to specifications, following all proper gaging techniques.
• Document production data, including quantities, scrap, and downtime.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
