Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability; proactively identify hazards and implement appropriate mitigation strategies; investigate incidents and participate in identifying and resolving root causes
• Provide leadership on the operating floor and promote compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements
• Coach, train, and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production, technical skills, and interpersonal communication
• Ensure best practices are followed to minimize waste at machine centers
• Address key issues and concerns and collaborate with employees from other departments to ensure high-quality, on-time production
• Identify repairs needed at machine centers and create work requests for completion
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities when performance issues are apparent and provide leadership and action plans to close gaps
• Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees; evaluate performance and provide feedback as needed
