Qualifications

• Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial OR military environment.
• Must have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety excellence by promoting employee involvement, ownership and accountability to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Provide leadership on the operating floor with focus on safety, health, environmental and quality.
• Coach, train and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, production and communication skills.
• Ensure best practices to minimize waste at machine centers.
• Address issues and collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and on-time production.
• Identify repairs at machine centers and create work requests.
• Track continuous improvement opportunities and lead gap-closure actions.
• Plan, assign and direct work for all hourly production employees and provide performance feedback.
