Job summary

Wieland North America, Inc. is seeking a Copperbond Operator for the 3rd shift in Waterbury, CT. The role focuses on safe operation of copper alloy equipment, quality control, and adherence to production standards.

The position is on-site with a schedule of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, paying $29.30–$34.14 per hour plus a $0.55 shift differential. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are provided to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand English.
• Maintain accurate production records and logs.
• Must pass pulmonary fit test for respirator use.
• Interpret technical data and operate programmable equipment.
• Excellent decision-making and organizational skills.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain copper/copper alloy manufacturing equipment.
• Follow safety rules and PPE documentation.
• Read work instructions and keep equipment and work area clean.
• Start-up and shutdown lines; manage on/offline solutions.
• Monitor inventory and log operating data.
