Wieland Group in Waterbury, CT is seeking a 3rd Shift Copperbond Operator to operate and maintain copper and copper alloy manufacturing lines. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and adherence to operating guidelines in a team-based environment. On-site in Waterbury with a weekly pay schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to read and write English and follow written instructions.
• Mechanically inclined with comfort using small hand tools.
• Ability to interpret technical data and run programmable equipment.
• Strong reliability and good attendance history.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow PPE and Job Safety Practice documents.
• Read, understand, and follow all work instructions specific to the equipment.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Start-up and shutdown line, including on and offline solutions.
• Detect and report faulty operations, improper material, and unusual conditions.
• Record and log all operating data using formulas, production guidelines, QA specifications and SPC data.
• Treat solutions in preparation for discharge.
• Monitor inventories.
• Perform other similar or related duties or flex to other areas of the plant as required.
