Job summary

Milacron in Mt. Orab, Ohio is seeking a CNC VTL Machine Operator on 1st shift to operate vertical turning lathes, interpret programs and blueprints, set up machines, and support manufacturing.

You will use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions, perform tooling changes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Experience with CNC mills and surface grinders is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC machining experience.
• 1) Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• 2) Ability to read precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• 3) Capable of performing machine setups and building tooling.
• 4) Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathes to produce quality components.
• Read and interpret CNC programs and blueprints.
• 3) Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Perform machine setups and tooling changes as required.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed.
• Support additional machining operations during downtime (Mills, grinders, saws).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow procedures.
