Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC machine operation experience.
• Operate conventional machines such as engine lathe, Bridgeport, turret lathe and radial drill press.
• Learn CNC programming software.
• Read blueprints.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Prolonged postures required during tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machining centers (mills and lathes).
• Make and revise CNC programs.
• Perform set-ups on all machines.
• Learn drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring and turning processes.
• Inspect own work with precision measuring tools.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Use fixtures to produce parts.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Possible overtime as needed.
