Vactor Mfg. Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to operate centers such as mills and lathes, develop and revise programs, and perform machine setups. You will read blueprints, inspect parts, and maintain equipment while ensuring a clean, safe workspace. Overtime may be required as production demands rise.

Relocation is not offered. The role requires at least two years of CNC experience and the ability to work with minimal supervision, including in prolonged postures.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years CNC operation experience.
• Operate conventional machines (lathe, Bridgeport, turret lathe, radial drill).
• Learn CNC programming software.
• Read blueprints.
• Work with minimal supervision.
• Prolonged postures (bending, stooping, kneeling, standing).

Mansioni

• Operate CNC centers (mills and lathes) and perform setups.
• Make and revise CNC programs and run deburring equipment.
• Inspect own work using calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain equipment and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Use fixtures to produce parts; maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Overtime as needed.
