Job summary

Mandatory Pharm.D. or B.S./Pharm.D. with NC license; ASHP PGY1 is a nice-to-have. This role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, and patient safety in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
• Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
• Nice To Have (Not Required): Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses.
• Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization.
• Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
