Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Painesville, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift Clean & Cap Operator to perform clean and cap operations and operate related equipment. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical processing or ceramics.

Must be able to work 10:00pm–6:00am and follow all safety guidelines. The position emphasizes accuracy, timely task completion, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year stable manufacturing experience, preferably in chemical process or ceramic industry.
Experience with misc. hand tools, tables, racks, boxes, safety guidelines, feeds, grinders, inspection tools, etc.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred and may be substituted by experience.

Responsibilities

Incumbent must handle hazardous waste in accordance with MSDS and company policy.
Perform all clean and cap operations: clean & cap tasks, mega dip, maintain automated equipment, mold prep, dewax, flashfire and special lot expediting.
Meet the efficiency standard requirements as established by Engineering.
Record daily work and time distribution with operational codes.
Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly, following safety rules.
Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor.
