Job summary

Sargento, a family-owned cheese producer based in Plymouth, Wisconsin, is hiring for a 2nd shift position. You will work Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with weekend work as needed.

You’ll join a team that produces high-quality products in a clean, safety-focused environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and be willing to complete forklift certification on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Willingness to complete forklift certification on hire.
• Ability to learn and carry out lock out tag out procedures as required.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform data entry for inventory systems and labeling software.

Responsibilities

• Work safely as part of a team to produce Sargento products.
• Read and understand production orders to verify information.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
• Be dependable and take pride in working with a team.
• Assist with the setup and placement of production equipment.
• Work alongside state-of-the-art automated equipment.
• As necessary, use cleaning chemicals to sanitize and clean equipment and production areas.
