Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate binding machines and ancillary equipment (inkjet, case making, folders, cutters, binders)
• Inspect equipment for safety issues
• Direct crew through all aspects of production and monitor quality, output and productivity
• Read and interpret work orders and job specifications to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Coordinate and optimize multiple stations on a single machine and adjust as needed
• Maintain knowledge of various bindery machines and finishing processes to complete books, catalogs and manuals
