Job summary

HiFyve in Columbus, Nebraska is hiring a Maintenance Press Technician for its automotive manufacturing facility. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance of production press equipment in a fast-paced environment.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read schematics, and support press setups to minimize downtime while following safety and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

• Industrial press maintenance experience.
• Experience performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings/schematics.
• Automotive stamping press experience preferred.
• Ability to work with Production and other plant departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial presses and related production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose press and equipment failures to identify the cause of production downtime.
• Support press setup, equipment adjustments, and repairs to restore production quickly.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
• Respond promptly to press breakdowns and production maintenance requests.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
• Support equipment reliability and continuous operation by identifying recurring failures.
• Follow all applicable safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
