Job summary

HiFyve is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Columbus, NE. This hands-on role supports highly automated production equipment in a modern plant with strong earning potential and long-term career growth.

The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with rotating weekends and overtime/double time on weekends. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and reading

Qualifications

Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments preferred.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Service-oriented attitude and ability to work with production teams.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support different shifts.

Responsibilities

Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
Close maintenance work orders in the system accurately.
Identify equipment failures and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests to support production.
Comply with HSE requirements, safety procedures, and required certifications including DC-3.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.
Use and care for company-provided tools, equipment, parts, and resources.
Provide a service-oriented attitude when supporting Production and other departments.
Follow LOTO and all applicable safety procedures during maintenance activities.
