Job summary

HiFyve is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing facility in Columbus, NE. This hands-on role supports highly automated production equipment in a modern plant with strong earning potential and long-term career growth.

The position is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with rotating weekends and overtime/double time on weekends. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and reading

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance or related field.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Service-oriented attitude and ability to work with production teams.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and support different shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Read and interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Close maintenance work orders in the system accurately.
• Identify equipment failures and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests to support production.
• Comply with HSE requirements, safety procedures, and required certifications including DC-3.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and equipment documentation.
• Use and care for company-provided tools, equipment, parts, and resources.
• Provide a service-oriented attitude when supporting Production and other departments.
• Follow LOTO and all applicable safety procedures during maintenance activities.

Position Details

Location: Columbus, NE

Shift: 1st Shift

• Monday through Friday
• 7:00 am– 3:00 PM
• Rotating on-call schedule every 4th weekend
• Saturday hours paid at overtime
• Sunday hours paid at double time

Pay:

• $20–$41/hour (depending on experience)
