Job summary

SNIPES USA in Detroit is seeking a 3rd key/Assistant Manager to help run daily store operations and support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals.

You will assist with opening/closing, staff supervision, merchandise presentation, losses prevention, and customer service. The position requires you to stand for long periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and lead a small team with initiative and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proven drive to achieve results and take initiative.
• Problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 15–30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage store operations in the Store Manager's absence.
• Demonstrate leadership to drive sales and profitability; meet store goals.
• Communicate store goals and directives to staff to maximize sales plan.
• Set up promotions and signage in a timely manner.
• Oversee merchandise presentation according to Visual Merchandising standards.
• Train and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Ensure associate safety and report dangerous situations.
• Accurately process register functions as directed.
• Maintain store cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom.
• Communicate changes in store policies and ensure proper implementation.
