Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an IDEA Academy teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and to help every student master the academic and social skills necessary for college success.

You will plan and deliver purposeful lessons, assess progress, analyze data to inform instruction, and communicate with families. You’ll contribute to a positive school culture and collaborate with the IDEA team to advance student outcomes across graded levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• K-12 classroom experience preferred.
• Texas teaching certification or willingness to obtain TEA training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction to help students master academics and skills for college.
• Plan and deliver purposeful lessons and submit weekly plans for feedback.
• Assess student progress and analyze data to adjust instruction accordingly.
• Communicate student progress with families on a regular basis.
• Maintain a positive classroom culture and implement behavior management aligned to campus initiatives.
