Job summary

IDEA Rise Academy is seeking a 4th grade Math/Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role requires implementing state standards, delivering rigorous instruction, and regularly assessing student progress to drive growth.

Immediate opening with compensation tied to experience and campus leadership opportunities. The position emphasizes collaboration, data-driven instruction, and a strong commitment to IDEA’s mission of preparing all students for college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred.
• Reading Academies or TX certification training/willingness to obtain TX training required/preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement state learning standards and IDEA curricula and assessments.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track progress and update gradebook weekly and adjust lessons accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Host tutoring sessions after school or on Saturdays as needed.
