Academies of Math and Science (AMS) Glendale is seeking a dedicated 2nd grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. You will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and build foundational literacy and numeracy skills while using data to inform planning.

The role emphasizes collaboration with grade-level teams, implementing PBIS, and engaging families to support student achievement in a Title I environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, or AZ teaching certification.
• Minimum of three years of K–12 teaching experience.
• Pass required background checks and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Commitment to serving Title I and multilingual communities.
• Strong analytical and data-driven instructional mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction based on AMS curricula.
• Differentiate instruction to support varied proficiency levels.
• Use formative and summative data to guide planning and interventions.
• Establish a structured, positive classroom environment with PBIS.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders.
