Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a vision-driven Operations Excellence Manager - W&L | 3PL to join our Warehouse & Logistics Operations team. In this high-impact role, you will champion continuous improvement across our third-party logistics network and collaborate with external clients and site leaders, embedding Lean principles and optimizing process workflows to elevate operational performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in warehousing, fulfillment, distribution center operations, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, value stream mapping, Kaizen facilitation, and process redesign techniques (Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP preferred).
• Proven experience owning operations launch support, facility startups, and direct customer-facing initiatives.
• Demonstrated financial and analytical acumen with the ability to connect operational improvements directly to business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive Process Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, Kaizen events, and value stream mapping to eliminate inefficiencies and enhance productivity, quality, and velocity across facilities.
• Support Business Launches: Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support new 3PL customer launches, facility startups, and operational scale-ups across North America.
• Standardize Performance Frameworks: Establish, monitor, and refine standardized KPIs and leadership standard work aligned with strategic and financial goals.
• Cultivate a Continuous Improvement Culture: Mentor and coach site leaders, operational teams, and developing practitioners in Lean Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving.
