Job summary

Kitware is seeking a research scientist to advance 3D vision through photogrammetry, calibration, and 3D reconstruction from images and video. You’ll contribute to TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield, publish results, and present at conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV.

Applicants must have a PhD, strong publication record, expertise in multiview geometry, and proficiency in C++ and Python. Due to contractual restrictions, US citizenship is required and TS/SCI clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong publication record in top-tier conferences (CVPR/ICCV/ECCV).
• Experience with multiview geometry for 3D reconstruction from imagery or video.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop algorithms for camera calibration, registration, and 3D reconstruction from images.
• Contribute to open source software such as TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield.
• Present research findings to customers and collaborators.
• Publish novel work at conferences and pursue funding for future research.
• Collaborate with researchers and participate in national security projects.
