Kitware seeks a researcher to advance 3D vision research from photogrammetry to open source tools such as TeleSculptor, KWIVER, and Danesfield. You’ll develop algorithms for camera calibration, registration, and 3D reconstruction from images and video, with emphasis on aerial and satellite data.

The role invites collaboration with customers, publication of results, and participation in conferences like CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and 3DV, with opportunities to contribute to national security projects.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience using multiview geometry to build 3D point clouds, meshes, NeRFs, from imagery or video.
• Experience with AI/ML methods for 3D reconstruction or camera calibration.
• Strong software development practices; proficient in C++ and/or Python.
• Strong publication record in top conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV).
• Collaborative, innovative approach in a fast-paced environment.
