Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a 3D Technical Designer for our NYC children's apparel line. You will develop and maintain quality and fit, collaborating with Design and Production to keep brand standards.

Responsibilities include creating spec packages, leading fit sessions, and communicating measurements and construction details to vendors, while ensuring compliance with safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in children's wear or apparel
• Experience with Browzwear or similar 3D software
• Ability to measure samples and ensure tolerance
• Knowledge of knit and woven garment construction
• Understanding of garment manufacturing and product development process
• Proficient with Excel and Word; Illustrator a plus

Responsibilities

• Work with Design and Production to set fit and construction standards
• Create spec packages with grade rules and construction details
• Measure and evaluate development samples for spec quality
• Lead fit sessions with Design and Production
• Communicate measurement and construction notes to vendors
• Ensure products meet children's safety requirements
• Answer queries via email on fit, specs, patterns
