Accounting Search in New York City is seeking a 3D Technical Designer to develop and maintain quality fit for children's apparel across multiple styles. You will collaborate with Design and Production to establish fit standards and create comprehensive spec packages with accurate measurements.

Responsibilities include leading fit sessions, communicating construction details to vendors, and ensuring compliance with safety requirements.

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience, children wear experience.
• Experience with Browzwear 3D software or similar software.
• Familiar with measuring sample points of measurement to ensure submitted samples are within tolerance of required specifications.
• Strong knowledge of knit and woven garment construction.
• Knowledge of patternmaking, sewing terminology and garment construction.
• Have understanding of garment manufacturing and product development process.
• Proficient in the use of Excel and MS Word; knowledge of Illustrator a plus.
• Must be willing to work in the office 5 days/week.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Design and Production teams to establish and maintain fit and construction standards to ensure brand consistency and quality
• Create spec packages for each style including correct grade rules and non-standard construction details
• Accurate measurement and evaluation of development, proto samples for spec, quality & workmanship
• Prepare and lead fit sessions with Design and Production Depts
• Communicate measurement, construction and workmanship comments to vendors, including providing detailed explanations, diagrams and/or patterns as needed
• Work with Production and Compliance Depts to ensure all products meet relevant children’s safety requirements
• Answer questions via email regarding fit, specs, pattern and construction as needed
