Construction Material Testing is seeking a 3D scanning technician to operate handheld scanners on real-site projects and deliver scan data and CAD-ready files for review.

You will process data in Artec Studio, verify captures on site, coordinate access and safety, and travel to regional hubs as needed. The role offers paid training, potential certifications, and growth toward leadership positions in our scanning line.

Competenze

• Hands-on experience operating a handheld scanner on real projects.
• Ability to read structural or fabrication drawings.
• Comfortable on active construction sites and in industrial plants.
• Willingness to travel and fly with equipment as assigned.

Mansioni

• Plan and execute handheld 3D scans before concrete placement and on-site inspections.
• Control drift on large objects using reference features and measured backbones.
• Verify capture completeness on site before leaving.
• Process scans in Artec Studio: registration, fusion, mesh cleanup, texture, export to STL/OBJ/E57 and CAD formats.
• Produce deviation maps, measurement reports, crack maps, and anchor bolt reports.
