Job summary

You will process point clouds, extract features, create topographic and planimetric maps, and develop breaklines to accurately represent terrain. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with project teams are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in surveying, LiDAR, or related geospatial field.
• Experience with large point clouds.
• Experience with topographic or planimetric feature extraction.
• Understanding of survey control, coordinates, datums, and elevations.
• Familiarity with breaklines, terrain models, surfaces, and contours.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Process and extract features from LiDAR/point clouds.
• Create detailed topographic and planimetric maps.
• Develop major/minor breaklines for terrain accuracy.
• Generate point grids, terrain models, surfaces, and contours.
• Register, georeference, and evaluate point-cloud data from multiple sources.
• QA/QC LiDAR, mapping, surfaces, contours, and features.
• Prepare geospatial deliverables for Project Managers and clients.
