Job summary

• Experience with operating multiple production tools used in art departments.
• Ability to learn quickly from available resources to maintain equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and proactive in improving processes.
• Good communication with team members and students.
• Preferred: experience working with art or artists.

Responsibilities

• Ensure organization and maintenance of department equipment stock, including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, large-format printers, Risograph printers, and framing equipment.
• Train students and others in safe use of tools.
• Supervise student use of sensitive equipment (printers, cutters, etc.).
• Collaborate with department staff to manage checkout system for small equipment.
