Job summary

Wenatchee High School is seeking a Math Teacher for 1.0 FTE, non-continuing contract for the 2nd semester. You will teach multiple math subjects, plan and evaluate instruction aligned with district curriculum, and report pupil progress to parents.

Collaboration with staff and attendance at meetings is required to support district initiatives. Qualifications include a valid Washington state teaching certificate, ability to teach all levels of math, and strong organizational and interpersonal

1.0 FTE, Non Continuing Contract- 2nd Semester Only

DESCRIPTION

Ability to teach multiple math subjects. Plan, implement and evaluate classroom instruction consistent with building and district curriculum. Report pupil progress to parents. Support programs and building/district in-service education programs. Attend building/district meetings and conferences as required. Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid Washington state certification with appropriate endorsement(s). Ability to instruct all levels of math. Evidence of exemplary human relation skills. Evidence of exemplary organizational and planning skills. Evidence of the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to work as a team player and understand the needs of high school aged students. Experience teaching math to high school students is preferred. Experience using Agile Minds Intensified Algebra preferred. Bilingual/blliterate (English/Spanish) preferred. Trained in sheltered techniques for ELL students preferred.
