Job summary

Valley Academy in Wenatchee, WA seeks a Special Education Para to support a Special Education instructor. This role provides educational services to students, with potential one-on-one or resource room support, and helps foster a positive learning environment.

Position is full-time, 6 hours per day for 191 days per year, with salary range $21.87–$24.41 per hour. Building locations may change based on student support needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum AA degree or equivalent or passed PRAXIS test required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
• Ability to make good decisions. Patient, flexible, self-motivated, good communication, teamwork, academic skills and positive social skills and a sense of humor.
• Ability to relate well to students, parents and staff.
• May require lifting, prolonged sitting or standing.
• Attendance and punctuality are important functions of this position.
