We’re in search of team leaders who would like to run a business as if it were their own. An Area Operations Director's sole responsibility is to help facilitate the operations of 5-7 stores within a region.

He/She will report to the Vice President of Operations while working closely with the Regional District Sales Managers to ensure a high level of customer service.

Required Skills

• Preferably a 4 year BS in Marketing/Sales, Business.
• 5-10 years of Roofing Distribution Experience perferd
• Has successfully manage a high volume roofing distribution facility
• Strong residential and commercial roofing product knowledge
• This position will require 50% or greater travel
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook PowerPoint, Excel and Internet
• Must possess the entrepreneurial spirit; be self-motivated, and enthusiastic about our business.
• Must have excellent customer service skills, management skills and attitude.
• Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be analytical and able to solve problems.

• Must have experience in the building material distribution industry, particularly selling residential and commercial roofing products, with demonstrated success in those products to a local contractor base.
• Must be dependable and have a current state issued driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be legally entitled to work in the United States
• Must be able to pass a company required drug test.
• Must be able to read, speak and write the English language to communicate with vendors, customers and other branch employees.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma / G.E.D. equivalent or currently enrolled in high school or GED Program.
• Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts as required (day, evening, weekend, holiday).
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be authorized or have the ability to obtain authorization to work in the UnitedStates.
• Must be able to demonstrate ability to correctly add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
