Responsibilities

  • Handles and transports materials, parts, and products in support of production and warehousing.
  • Operates forklift, pallet truck, and related equipment as required.
  • Completes paperwork including transfers, receiving, scrap, time reports, and daily forklift inspection forms.
  • Conducts inventory transactions using computer terminals or RF devices, as needed.
  • Keeps work area clean, organized, and in compliance with safety rules.

Position Summary

Responsible for handling and transporting a variety of materials, parts, and products in support of the production and warehousing functions throughout the plant.

Responsibilities
  • Performs handling and transporting duties as outlined in the Process Instruction for the assigned work area.
  • Changes propane tanks, charges and recharges batteries on forklift trucks as required.
  • Removes scrap materials from the department as required.
  • Performs cycle counting as required.
  • Completes paperwork as required, including material transfers, receiving, scrap, and time reports, daily forklift inspection forms and others.
  • Performs inventory transactions using computer terminals or RF devices.
  • Operates forklift, hand pallet truck, barrel lift, floor sweeper, floor scrubber, and yard truck as required.
  • Completes the forklift’s daily inspection form.
  • Uses communication and mathematical skills in the performance of duties.
  • Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.
  • Observes safety rules at all times and immediately reports unsafe conditions to department supervision.
  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.

Competitive Compensation
  • Hourly pay range: $20.77 – $24.42
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
